Lesson Plan

Begin the lesson by showing the first video of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." Have students listen while reading the lyrics to the song. After the song, explain to students that the song has been adopted by many as the new homosexual anthem, in which they claim that there is nothing wrong with them, that they were born homosexual, and they did not choose to be so. Transition into the lesson by stating that a new scientific study may prove this song's message to be true and shows evidence that homosexual individuals were indeed "born this way."
