SNL and Engaging with Current Events

In this lesson, students engage with a topic in current events by creating an SNL skit and providing comic relief to an otherwise serious subject.

Lesson Plan

Students should watch the provided videos and break into groups of six. They should then pick a topic in current events and create their own SNL skit that provides comic relief to an otherwise serious subject.
