Twitter Your Nerve Signals

This lesson uses Twitter to help students understand how the central nervous system passes a signal along different types of neurons to elicit a response from the brain.

Lesson Plan

Before this lesson can begin, the instructor must make Twitter accounts for the students to use. Each Twitter account will be a type of nerve present in the central nervous system. The following Twitter accounts must be created: Pain sensory neuron, interneuron 1, interneuron 2, interneuron 3, hand motor neuron, and the brain.
